• Emergency First Responder

  The Emergency First Responder course is a Red Cross sanctioned course which teaches all of the skills needed to provide first response care and treatment to victims of illness or injury. It is a 40 hour course offered over 4 days and includes patient assessment and vital signs, oxygen administration and spinal immobilization.

  PREREQUISITE:

  CPR Level ‘C’ and First Aid.

  The cost of CPR training as an addition to EFR, for those who require it, will be $20

  IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  The CPR course is a level HCP course, and is consistent with First Responder.

  Those who are currently certified in CPR level 'C' or better and wish to attend are required to provide a copy of their certificate before attending.
