• Emergency Medical Responder

  Information

  The Emergency Medical Responder course is a Red Cross sanctioned course which teaches all of the skills needed to provide first response care and treatment to victims of illness or injury. It is a 40 hour course offered over 4 days and includes patient assessment and vital signs, oxygen administration and spinal immobilization.

  Prequisite

  Current Emergency First Aid with CPR C

• Standard First Aid with CPR C

  Availability

  First Aid with CPR C training is only available together with Emergency Medical Responder training.

  Other Information

  The CPR course is a level HCP course, and is consistent with Emergency Medical Responder.

  Those who are currently certified in CPR C or greater and wish to attend are required to provide a copy of their certificate prior to attending.
