Non-Emergency Medical Transportation

AmbuTrans provides non-emergency medical transportation for clients who require transportation by stretcher and continuous accompaniment by qualified Medical Care Attendants, particularly for those whose medical status does not meet Ontario Ministry of Health criteria for the use of an EMS Ambulance.

We provide reliable, safe and on-time service to and from hospitals, long term care centres,  retirement homes, rehabilitation centres, Doctor's offices, psychiatric facilities and private residences. AmbuTrans services are also available for special events such as weddings, funerals, family functions, religious services or home visits.

Our large fleet of non-emergency ambulance transportation vehicles are fully equipped with portable and fixed oxygen delivery systems, suction units, stair chairs, 120 volt power outlets, trauma, airway management and resuscitation equipment and patient assessment gear.

All AmbuTrans vehicles are climate controlled and provide ample seating for medical escorts and family members.
